Abstract
Lectotypes are designated for three Japanese Plecoptera, Nemoura hirayamai MATSUMURA, 1931, Nemoura misnosa CLAASSEN, 1936, and Apteroperla yazawai MATSUMURA, 1931. Nemoura hirayamai and N. misnosa are regarded as junior subjective synonyms of Protonemura fulva SAMAL, 1921 and Rhabdiopteryx japonica OKAMOTO, 1922, respectively. Apteroperla yazawai, the type species of Apteroperla MATSUMURA, 1931 by monotypy, is removed from the synonymy of Capnia nivalis UENO, 1929, and the genus Apteroperla is newly treated as a senior subjective synonym of Allocapniella KAWAI, 1955. Consequently, all the five species of Allocapniella are transferred to the genus Apteroperla : Apt. babensis (KAWAI, 1967), comb. n., Apt. elongata (KAWAI, 1967), comb. n., Apt. monticola (KAWAI, 1955), comb. n., Apt. tikumana (UENO, 1938), comb. n., and Apt. verdea (KAWAI, 1967), comb. n.
