Discovery of the Genus Mayetia (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Pselaphinae) from Japan, with Description of a New Species

Abstract

The pselaphine genus Mayetia of the tribe Mayetiini is first recorded from Japan. A new species, M. ishiiana is described on the basis of two specimens collected in Chiba Prefecture, central Honshu.
