Taxonomic Notes on the Japanese Species of the Genus Cladopelma (Diptera, Chironomidae)

Abstract

Taxonomic problems with Japanese species of the genus Cladopelma KIEFFER, 1921 are discussed. The hypopygeal differences between C. viridula and C. edwardsi are illustrated. A synonymic list of 4 Japanese species of the genus is given.
