New Name of an Amphinemura Species for Nemoura (Protonemura) spinosa KAWAI, 1960, with Description of a New Species from Japan (Plecoptera, Nemouridae)

Abstract

Nemoura (Protonemura) spinosa KAWAI, 1960 is renamed Amphinemura kawaii nom. nov. by primary homonym of Nemoura spinosa WU, 1940. A species from Japan resembles A. kawaii in the terminal feature and is described under the name of A. clavigera sp. n. Terminal features of both adults are illustrated.
