Plesiophthalmus and its Allied Genera (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae, Amarygmini) (Part 11)

This is the 11th part of the revisional study of the tenebrionid genus Plesiophthalmus and its allied genera, and deals with the following groups and species of the former : Group of P. kondoi-P. kondoi (MASUMOTO, 1981), comb. nov., P. pickaianus sp. nov., P. fossulatus CHATANAY, 1917 ; Group of P. mayumiae-P. mayumiae (MASUMOTO, 1981), comb. nov., P. crescentus sp. nov., P. oblongus sp. nov. ; Group of P. borneensis-P. borneensis (PIC, 1915), comb. nov., (=Cyriogeton tenuistriatum BLAIR, 1928, syn. nov.), P. subelongatus (PIC, 1915), comb. nov., P. substriatus PIC, 1917 ; Group of P. gokani-P. gokani sp. nov., P. miyakei sp. nov., P. shingoi sp. nov., P. nakanei sp. nov., P. doipuiensis sp. nov., P. kurosawai sp. nov. Two isolated species, P. armicrus FAIRMAIRE, 1889 (=P. robustipennis PIC, 1938, syn. nov.) and P. maculosus (PIC, 1922), comb. nov., and a species of unidentified systematic status, P. lineipunctatus FAIRMAIRE, 1891, are also re-examined. Keys to the species of respective species-groups are also given.
