Two New Species of the Genus Stylops (Strepsiptera, Stylopidae) with Stylopized Records of the Andrenid Bees in Japan : Studies on the Japanese Strepsiptera XIV

Abstract

Stylops fukuiensis and S. murotai spp. nov. are described from the two Japanese andrenid bees, Andrena (Hoplandrena) miyamotoi and A. (Euandrena) takachihoi, respectively, which were collected in Fukui Prefecture, Honshu, Japan. A suspected male adult of S. izumoensis and a male cephalotheca of S. japonicus are figured. Several new localities of 3 known species of the Japanese Stylops are recorded.
