A Taxonomic Note on the Caddisfly Genus Dicosmoecus in Japan (Trichoptera, Limnephilidae)

Abstract

The holotype of Dicosmoecus jozankeanus (MATSUMURA) is examined. The holotype of Kogurea ezoensis KOBAYASHI is examined and redescribed, and its proposed status as a junior subjective synonym of jozankeanus is confirmed.
