抄録

Tenodera angustipennis Saussure (Mantodea : Mantidae) has been suggested as a host of Podagrion philippinense cyanonigrum Habu, but the reported parasitism rate was quite low. No other mantis species has been reported as a host of this torymid wasp. We confirmed that P. philippinense cyanonigrum parasitized on the eggs of T. angustipennis at Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. Additionally, P. philippinense cyanonigrum adults were emerged from an egg case of Acromantis australis Saussure (Mantodea : Acromantidae) collected at Minoo Park, Osaka Prefecture, Japan in early July. A. australis was suggested as a main host of P. philippinense cyanonigrum because of a relatively high parasitism rate.
