抄録

Larval host fungi for five fungus gnats of the genus Mycetophila : idonea Lastovka, matsumurai Last., perpauca Last., ruficollis Meigen and uninotata Zetterstedt (Mycetophilidae), of which M. uninotata was recorded from Japan for the first time, were recorded. Taxonomic characters of two crane flies, Metalimnobia bifasciata (Schrank) and Empeda nigroapicalis (Alexander)(Limoniidae) were given, the former occurred at the cultivated shiitake mushroom field and the latter was newly recorded from Honshu Is. Limonia avis Alexander and L. avis flavoabdominalis Alexander were synonymized with Metalimnobia bifasciata (Schrank). Japanese species of the Phoridae and Ephydridae were reviewed. Three host birds of Ornithomya avicularia aobatonis (Matsumura)(Hippoboscidae) were newly recorded.
