女子学生の事例にみる心と身体  [in Japanese] Between Mind and Body of Female Students  [in Japanese]

種々の身体症状を訴えて診療室を訪れる人々の中には，身体の問題にとどまらず心の問題がからんでいると考えられる人々がいる。本論では，身体症状の訴えが前面に出ているが，はじめに対応した診療室のスタッフの判断で心理カウンセラーを紹介された女子青年の事例を検討した。4つのケースをとりあげて，主訴としての身体症状，生育歴，面接過程を検討し，身体と心の問題についてその対応を考察した。その結果，多彩な身体症状を呈しているクライエントは，本人の感情や自己認識についての抑圧がみられ，これが言語化される過程で身体症状は消えていった。言語化されるには抑圧に対する配慮と，信頼に裏づけされたそれ相当の時が必要であると考えられる。The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the condition of body and mind by case study method.The case taken up in this study were those of four female students who visited the clinic in the center of health service.Those students were suffering from various symptoms such as headche and lack appetite for food,and were introduced to the counselor by a doctor or a nurse.Through the counseling sessions,the following observations and consideration were made:It seemed that the clients were repressing their emotions and self recognition.When they began to express their conflicts verbally,their clinical symptoms disappeared.As a result,I came to conclusion that the client's symptoms were caused by a failure in their communication system.
