Abstract

チタン酸バリウムを代表とするペロブスカイト酸化物セラミックスにおいては経時変化や信頼性などに空間電荷(酸素空位)が大きな影響をおよぼす。空間電荷挙動を系統的に調べるためにSrを固溶して室温以下にキュリー点を低下させたチタン酸バリウムストロンチウムセラミックスを中心に熱刺激電流を通じてNiをドープしたセラミックスの特性を評価した。その結果、粒界にあって双極子的性質を有する電荷や酸素空位のマイグレーションにともなう電流を明瞭に観察することができ、さらには熱刺激電流に基づいてこの系において観察される超低周波誘電緩和現象や異常伝導電流の機構を解明することができた。

Since the space charges like oxygen vacancies affect to the aging phenomena, the reliability and so on in perovskite oxide ceramics, barium titanate ceramics as the representative, we evaluated the Ni-doped barium strontium titanate ceramics, where the Curie temperature were decreased by Sr solution, through the thermally stimulated current observations. The experimental results revealed the dipolar charges localized at the grain boundaries and also the current accompanied with migration of the oxygen vacancies. The set of the experiments made it possible to understand both the ultra-low frequency dielectric relaxation phenomena and the abnormal conduction current observed in these ceramic systems.
