カラープラズマディスプレイ最近の進展 II : 駆動方式と特性 RECENT ADVANCES OF COLOR PLASMA DISPLAYS II : DRIVING METHODS AND PERFORMANCES

Abstract

プラズマディスプレイの発光デューティは通常30%程度であるが、これはアドレスディスプレイ同時駆動方式により、3倍に延長することができることを述べる。バネルに流入する変位電流に起因する電力損失の回収回路を紹介し、また動画像に現れる偽輪郭の低減方法についても触れる。

A typical light-emission duty factor of 30% can be increased 3 times by a use of an Address-while-Display scheme. Recovery of energy loss caused by displacement current to the panel is spot-lighted. Also methods of reducing contouring noise which appears in moving images are explained.
