Abstract
2次元ストリークカメラで放電の発光過程を観察して、放電の発光特性とパネルの構造を明らかにする。ネオンの放電は、正電極上だけで観察される。しかし、キセノンの放電領域は、正電極と負電極上で観察される。また、キセノンの放電時間は、ネオンのそれより、かなり長く続く。
The relationships between the geometrical structure of panel and the electric-optical characteristics of discharge were observed for the time and the spatial variation of light emission due to the discharge by two-dimensional streak camera. The discharge of Ne is observed only above cathodes, and that of Xe are observed above both cathodes and anodes. The discharge of Xe lasts much longer than that of Ne.
