Abstract
ナイジェリア産Aneilemaの4種(A. aequinoctiale, A. beniniense, A. paludosum and A. unbrosum)について光学顕微鏡を用いて,葉,茎,根について解剖学的構造について観察を行った。
Investigations on the anatomical features of four species of Aneilema (A. aequinoctiale, A. beniniense, A. paludosum and A. unbrosum) that were common in Nigeria were made with the aid of light microscope. Anatomically sigificant features were found in the leaf, stem and root. The presence of large hypodermal cells that are colourless due to water stored on them support the possible role of these tissues as storage tissues. The presence of 16 vascular bundles in the root of A. aequinoctiale distinguished this species from other Aneilema species investigated. Similarly the polyarch vascular structure of these Aneilema species could also be used in their systematics since they were eight steles in other taxa but 16 steles in A. aequinoctiale. This study reconfirmed the value of anatomical features of the Aneilema species investigated in relation to their systematic configurations.
