ワダソウとヒゲネワチガイソウ(ナデシコ科)の自然雑種 A Natural Hybrid between Pseudostellaria heterophylla and P. palibiniana (Caryophyllaceae)

韓国テグ地方Mt. Bisulsanのフロラ調査のおり,Pseudostellaria heterophyllaとP. palibinianaの他に,これらに種によく似ているが同定のできない個体を採集した。それらの外部形態,体細胞染色体,花粉稔性,アロザイムのバンドパターンを調べ比較したところ,同定できなかったそれらの個体はP. heterophyllaとP. palibinianaの間の自然雑種であることが判明した。それをP. heterophylla × P. palibinianaとして記載した。なお,この種間自然雑種はワチガイソウ属では初めての記録である。

During survey of the flora of Mt. Bisulsan at Taegu Province in Korea, we found along with Pseudostellaria heterophylla and P. palibiniana a few individuals which we could not identify. In order to determine their taxonomic position, we examined their external morphology, somatic chromosome number, pollen fertility, and allozyme band patterns, and concluded that they represent a natural hybrid between P. heterophylla and P. palibiniana. It was described as P. heterophylla × P. palibiniana, and this is the first report of the interspecific hybrid in PseudosteUaria.
