中国貴州産ハラン属の新種 A New Species of Aspidistra (Liliaceae) from Guizhou, China

ユリ科のハラン属は多年生の草本で, 約30種を含み, 東アジア(中国〜ヒマラヤ, 中国〜日本の地域)に分布し, 特に中国の南西部に多い。この属の種は通常, 石灰岩地域の林の縁の林床に生育する。ここに記載した新種は貴州の西南部の石灰岩地域で発見されたものであり, 表1で示した特徴によって近縁種と区別される。

Aspidistra luodianensis, a new species from Guizhou, China, is described and illustrated.This new species is closely related to Aspidistra longiloba G. Z. Lin and A. longipetala S. Z. Huang in habit, shape of the perianth and constitution of the floral organs, but can be clearly distinguished from them by the characteristic number of perigonal lobes, staminal shape and size, leaf shape, turbinate ovary, the globose berry ca. 2.5 cm in diam., and the 6-8 seeds.
