Abstract

本研究は, テレビ視聴者の嗜好に合った番組ジャンルを自動推薦することを目標として, 非線形正準相関分析と年令・性別視聴率分析から年令・性別ならびにテレビ視聴態度・価値観因子のジャンル推薦モデルを導き, 番組・ジャンル推薦機構においてそれを活用する場合の諸問題を考察した。その結果, モデル構築に関する次の指標を得た。1.両モデルを番組・ジャンル推薦機構における汎用知識ベースとして併用することにより効果的なジャンル推薦ができる。2.汎用知識ベースは, 年令・性別の1位から3位までの推薦ジャンル, 並びにテレビ視聴態度・価値観因子の推薦ジャンルのデータを生活場面ごとに持ち, 視聴者の個人プロファイルデータを得て推薦を実行することができる。3.汎用知識ベースと視聴履歴による学習・推薦は, ジャンル推薦において相互補完的な機能を果たす。4.両モデルの優先順位は, 生活場面の特性に応じて選ぶことができる。

Aimed at developing an automatic program recommendation system to meet individual television viewer's preferences, two genre recommendation models based on age and gender, and on factors of attitude and sense-of-value in television viewing respectively, were developed using nonlinear canonical correlation analysis and an analysis of television viewing ratings with age and gender. The main points found regarding the construction of the recommendation models are as follows ; 1. A system applying the two models simultaneously to the general database appears to produce effective genre recommendation. 2. The general database consists of a data table of three ranked genre recommendations for each age and gender, and one or more genre recommendations for each viewing scenario, based on factors of attitude and sense-of-value in television viewing. 3. The general database and system learning/inference by viewing history augment each other in genre recommendation. 4. The priority of the two models should be selected in accordance with the particular characteristics of the viewing scenario.
