ピン支持拡大機構を用いた磁気ダンパの研究 A study of magnetic dampers using a pinned displacement enlargement mechanism
In this paper, two types of magnetic dampers using rare-earth magnets and a pinned displacement enlargement mechanism are proposed in order to obtain passive dampers which give damping within a relative displacement in the region of 0.1～10mm. One magnetic damper consists of a lever mechanism, copper disk, rare-earth magnets and a spring. The other magnetic damper is a compound magnetic damper which adds friction force to the magnetic damper. The trial magnetic dampers were made and the resisting force characteristics were measured. The experimental results are compared with the theoretical results. The seismic responses of an L-shaped pipe supported by the dampers were measured using an electrohydraulic type shaking table. The experimental results are compared with the calculated results obtaine by a finite element method (ANSYS), and the effects of vibration suppression of the dampers are discussed.
