This study was conducted to select useful items manifesting the factors constructing the structure of patients' satisfaction on prosthetic treatment with removable dentures. Eachgroup of 102 complete dentures, 95 A-P dentures and 106 P dentures was analyzed. Applying tomultivariate statistical analyses, factors having similar information were extracted. The followingresults were obtained.<BR>1. The structure of patients' satisfaction was constructed with “denture performance factor”, “denture structure factor” and proper factors on each denture.<BR>2. Patients' evaluations strongly influencing these factors were “strangeness”, “tooth mold”, “chew food”, “esthetics” and “dental service” on complete dentures.<BR>3. On A-P dentures, “stability”, “tooth mold”, “pain”, “taste” and “dental service” were veryimportant elements.<BR>4. On P dentures, “stability”, “tooth mold”, “strangeness” and “pain” could well explain thesefactors.<BR>5. It is considered that above results would be available in quantitative evaluation of objectiveinformation obtained from the patients.
