抄録

Many papers have been written on the fundamental theories and experiments on ship vibration, but there are only few papers treating with the practical method of preventing it. The character of actual ship vibration is so complex that it is not easy to prevent it with a simple method. The authors have been engaging in experimental researches on vibration problems of actual ships for the last several years, and in this paper, they have outlined some examples of observation and preventing method of ship vibration which they have carried out successfully.
