抄録

To understand local phenomena of turbulent premixed flames, the change of local burning velocity and heat release rate per unit area of premixed flames were studied by numerical simulations using detailed chemistry for counterflow twin flame and tubular flame. The results for methane-air, hydrogen-air and ethane-air flame show that burning velocities and heat release rates are changed by flame stretch rate with the effects of diffusive-thermal unbalance and preferential diffusion. On the other hand, the effect of curvature of flame front for burning velocities and heat release rates is much smaller than that of flame stretch rate.
