Abstract
An analysis is made for the influence of random noise on pattern formations in Turing systems in bounded domains. Some works in the past have been performed on analyses of pattern formations in stochastic systems, however, most of the analyses are concerned with phase transitions described by the stochastic equation of Ginzburg-Landau type. In this paper, we focus on pattern formations in Turing systems in bounded domains with external disturbances and show sufficient conditions for existence of unique solution. We study the influence of disturbances on Turing pattern formations in one- and two-dimensional spatial domains by numerical simulations.
