Abstract
The aim of the present paper is to design and provide a new Object-Oriented (hereafter OO) Structured Frame (OOSF) and its representation technique for the Domain Users (DUs) to analyze and describe their target worlds The DUs are the experts of a certain professional domain except the computer science/technology To attain the aim, we have reconstituted the Minsky's knowledge(-based) frame system We have actually designed and constituted the following mechanism and its representation technique, (1) The OOSF for the discretized and OO-structured descriptions, and for the specifically formalized representations (2) The OOSF representation technique for the DU's arbitrarily detailed descriptions (3) The discretization and structurization of the Natural Japanese (NJ) descriptions. As the results, we have confirmed some valuable effects that have realized by the above described (1)〜(3) of the OOSF. We have also confirmed that, for just the DUs, the OOSF has been simpler and richer representation functions than the UML (Umfied Modeling Language) or the OMT (Object Modeling Technique). The comparisons with the knowledge(-based) frame representation languages have shown that the OOSF is an OO-structured frame that has not been proposed or constituted As for the conclusion, we have successfully established an OOSF for the OO-structured descriptions, and provided a new OO description method for the actual usage of the DUs
