Notes on Pleurotroppopsis (Hymenoptera, Eulophidae) and its Allied Genera, with Descriptions of Four New Species from Japan

Generic characters of Pleurotroppopsis GIRAULT (=Cotterellia WATERSTON) and Apleurotropis GIRAULT are discussed, and P. sasae (KAMIJO) and P. kumatai (KAMIJO) are transferred to Apleurotropis. Visnuella HEDQVIST is synonymized with Zaommomentedon GIRAULT. Four new species, Pleurotroppopsis lunata, Apleurotropis okumae, Parahorismenus cornelli, and Zaommomentedon brevipetiolatus are described from Japan, and the male of A. kumatai is described. Host records are given for two new species as well as P. japonica (KAMIJO) and A. kumatai.
