Abstract
Eggs of Anoplophora malasiaca THOMSON were artificially inoculated in four different sites on a citrus tree. Hatchability of the inoculated eggs, survival rates of young instar larvae and exudation of gum were observed in each inoculation site. Hatchability of eggs and mortality rate of larvae were closely related with the exudation of gum, and were lowered at the site where the gum-exudation rate was high.
