Abstract
Goerodes nanseiensis ITO, originally described from Amami-ohshima Island, and G. ryukyuensis n. sp. are recorded from Okinawa Island, southern Japan. G. arcuatus (HWANG), originally described from eastern China, and G. ebenacanthus n. sp. are recorded from Iriomote Island, southern Japan, and the latter species is also recorded from Taiwan. Lepidostomatid caddisfly fauna of Okinawa Island is completely different from that of Iriomote Island. Descriptions of male, female and larva and notes on case and habitat of larvae are given for each of the two new species. Variation in male genitalia of G. nanseiensis is also described. Redescription of male, and first descriptions of female and larva are given for G. arcuatus, with notes on larval case and habitat.
