Descriptions of Seven New Species of the Genus Chaetanaphothrips PRIESNER (Thysanoptera, Thripidae) from East Asia

Abstract

Seven new Chaetanaphothrips species are described and illustrated. They are C. simplicipennis sp. nov. from the Philippines (Luzon Is.), C. ipomoeae sp. nov. from Indonesia (Bali Is.) and West Malaysia, C. brevipennis sp. nov. and C. leucaenae sp. nov. from Thailand, C. microsensillae sp. nov. from Indonesia (Sulawesi), C. longisetis sp. nov. from Taiwan, and C. varius sp. nov. from Japan.
