Abstract
Cases of male Ropalidia plebeiana feeding larvae are described. This male behavior has been reported in Polistes and Mischocyttarus, but not in Ropalidia. The food fed to the larvae by males was from flesh pellets obtained from prey-laden females, often from the top-dominant female. The duration of prey malaxation by males was longer than that by females.
