A New Seed-feeding Species of Liriomyza (Diptera, Agromyzidae) from Japan

Abstract

Liriomyza hemerocallis n. sp. is described from Hokkaido, Japan, as a pest of day-lily, Hemerocallis yezoensis HARA. This is a third species with a seed-feeding habit in the genus.
