A New Species of Aceraius (Coleoptera, Passalidae) from Sabah, Borneo, with Redescription of A.moeschleri KUWERT

Abstract

A new species, Aceraius boucheri, is described from Sabah, Borneo. It is distinguished from the other congeners by having the fifth tarsomere projecting like a hood at the distal end in all legs. In addition, A. moeschleri KUWERT is redescribed on the basis of the lectotype specimen.
