Bamboo-Inhabiting Thrips of the Family Thripidae (Thysanoptera) from Southeast Asia I

Abstract

Two new genera and four new species of bamboo-inhabiting thrips of the family Thripidae are described and illustrated. They are Clypeothrips tibialis gen. et sp. nov., Takethrips bambusae gen. et sp. nov., T. megas sp. nov. and Yoshinothrips thailandicus sp. nov. All of them were discovered in Thailand.
