A New Genus of the Family Ciidae (Coleoptera) from Yakushima Island, Southwest Japan

Abstract

Hyalocis yakushimensis, a new genus and species of the tribe Orophiini of the subfamily Ciinae, is described from Yakushima Island, Southwest Japan. A key to the Japanese genera of the Orophiini is given.
