Notes on the Japanese Agromyzidae (Diptera), 3 Liriomyza-miners on Artemisia spp. (Asteraceae)

Abstract

Seven mugwort (Artemisia spp.) miners of the genus Liriomyza are recorded from Japan ; of these, one species, L. vitrimentula, is described as new to science, and four species, artemisiae SPENCER, artemisicola DE MEIJERE, ptarmicae DE MEIJERE and yasumatsui SASAKAWA, are newly added to the fauna.
