Neue Rhagophthalmidae (Coleoptera) aus China und benachbarten Landern

1. Systematic by W. WITTMER. The genus Ochotyra PASCOE, 1962, is synonymized with Rhagophthalmus MOTSCHULSKY, 1853. The following new species are described : Rhagophthalmus ohbai (Japan, Okinawa), R. kiangsuensis, R. tienmushanensis and R. elongatus (China), R. burmensis (Burma). R. neoobscurus n. n. for Octotyra obscura PIC, 1921, because of R. tokineus var. obscurus PIC, 1917. R. obscurus PIC, 1917, n. stat., is declared for R. tonkineus, var. obscurus PIC. The aedeagi are figured for all the species mentioned. 2. Larva, luminosity and behavior by N. OHBA. In this part the larva of Rhagophthalmus ohbai WITTMER is described and particulars about the luminousity and behavior of this species are given.
