Diploid Males in the Bumble Bee Bombus terrestris (Hymenoptera) Karyotype Analyses of Diploid Females, Diploid Males and Haploid Males

Abstract

The karyotypes of diploid female, diploid male and haploid male of Bombus terrestris are shown in the present study. The existence of the male from a fertilized egg is karyologically confirmed in this species.
