A Revision of the Bamboo- or Grass-Inhabiting Genus Bamboosiella ANANTHAKRISHNAN (Thysanoptera, Phlaeothripidae) II

Abstract

In this series of papers, 25 species are recognised in the genus Bamboosiella ANANTHAKRISHNAN. In which 14 species were treated in part I, and further 11 species are treated herein. The 11 species are : B. malaya sp. n., B. micropterus (PITKIN) comb. n., B. nayari (ANANTHAKRISHNAN) comb. n., B. pitkini sp. n., B. repentina (ZUR STRASSSEN) comb. n., B. sasa sp. n., B. semiflava sp. n., B. stannardi (FAURE) comb. n., B. thailandica sp. n., B. varia (ANANTHAKRISHNAN & JAGADISH) comb. n. and B. xiphiphora sp. n. A species, Praepodothrips flavicornis (ZHANG) comb. n., is transferred from Antillothrips. A key is provided to 25 Bamboosiella species.
