Abstract

Four species of the genus Mirax are reported from Japan. M. irruptor PAPP and M. mogrus PAPP are newly recorded from Japan, and two new species are described : M. kumatai and M. sii. Three of them, M. mogrus, M. kumatai and M. sii, were all reared from leaf- or stem-miners of the Acrocercops-group, i. e., Acrocercops, Dendrorycter, Psydrocercops or Spulerina, of the Gracillariidae. A key to the Japanese species is presented.
