抄録

A new code which is called 24/25(0,8) code with κ-constraint (κ=8) is presented. This code can be improved the code rate property over both the conventional 8/9(0,4/4) code and 16/17(0,6/6) code. In order to construct this code, we develop an simple, but effective idea on which each data word is divided into several sub-words having the same length, and then they are converted into the corresponding partial-codewords, respectively.
