手話における手動作のモデル化に基づくCGアニメーションの生成(福祉と知能・認知障害/一般)  [in Japanese] CG animation based on modeling of hand movement in Japanese Sign Language  [in Japanese]

Abstract

本研究では, わたりに手話としての多くの情報が含まれているという事実を考慮し, わたり・手話単語における2点間の到達運動の分析を行った.ロボットの運動の研究などでは, 動作が安定となる条件として, 加速度が連続になることが必要とされており, 人の自然な動作も最低限同様の条件が必要との仮説を立て, 加速度の変化率まで滑らかとなる4次遅れ系のステップ応答式による手話データのフィッティングとモデル化を行った.また, そのモデル化の速度変化パターンに従った手話CGアニメーションを合成し, 健聴者・手話者による従来手法との比較実験を行い, 「人間の手の動きとしての自然さ」が増しているという評価を得た.

In this paper, in consideration of a fact that transition movement had much information as sign language, we analyzed arrival exercise between two points in a sign language word and transition movement. By orbit plan of exercise of a robot, as the conditions it becomes stable operating, continued acceleration is needed. We assumed that the condition same at least is needed in a natural motion of human. We approximated arrival exercise between two points in a sign language to a reply wave pattern of a step signal whose acceleration is continuation. We proposed a method to express Japanese sign language with CG animation by a reply wave pattern of a step signal. In addition, we implemented the technique to a sign language CG animation system and conducted a comparison experiment with the conventional technique. We confirmed the effectiveness.
