抄録

This paper presents the process of the development of the hardness tester and the evaluating method of hardness of building floors, which is based on the relation between the physical value of floors measured with the hardness tester, and the evaluating scales of hardness reported in part 1. The outline of this study is as follows. The first, based on the results of analysis of vertical load on floors by human walking, a hardness tester of floors was developed. This tester consists of a free dropping weight, a rubber springs, a load sell, a displacement meter, and so on. And from the relation between the deflection energy of floors measured with the hardness tester dynamically, and sensory scales reported in part 1, we could obtain the appropriate physical value of hardness of building floors. The second, from the relation between this physical value and evaluating scales reported in parti, we could obtain evaluating indexes which includes the most suitable value and the optimal range of hardness at every actions, shoes, sex, and present an evaluating method of hardness of building floors.
