Statistical characteristics of turbulent boundary layer developed over a flat plate were investigated by a wind tunnel test for modeling cross-spectral density matrix for the use as targets of inflow turbulence generation for LES computation. Here, the power spectrum was modeled by using Karman type spectrum and the root coherence and the phase were modeled by exponential type and linear type equations, respectively. In this study, the influence of the wind tunnel floor was observed on the power spectra, the root coherences and the phases. The parameters of model equations for the power spectra, the root coherences and the phases were modified to reproduce the influence of floor by introducing the function of height in their expression. The inflow turbulences were generated by means of a step-by-step method based on Monte-Carlo simulation considering the cross-spectral density matrix calculated from model equations as targets. As a result of these procedure, the generated inflow turbulences could satisfy the prescribed target spectra.
