抄録

In order to clarify the carbonation mechanism of the casting calcium carbonate, the behavior of water content and the carbonation rate on the casting calcium carbonate by using of the reaction rate theory are examined in this paper. The results are as follows; 1) The optimum water content for the carbonation varies with the casting pressure. 2) The carbonation becomes very slow when the casting pressure exceeds 150N/mm^2. 3) The rate of carbonation of the casting calcium carbonate by the mixer-mixture is higher than that by the hand-mixture at the early stage of curing period, but this difference disappears as the curing period increases. 4) The rate of carbonation of the casting calcium carbonate in normal curing is higher than that in carbonate curing.
