インターネットを利用した教育の現状と課題 Using Internet for education : the status quo, advantages and issues

抄録

This paper describes the present conditions, advantages and issues to be solved of utilizing Internet for education. Education using Internet is classified into four groups:(1) traditional class (group) education, (2) exchange of classes, (3) individual distance learning, and (4) collaborative distance learning. The present research and experiment status is described for each category. Then, advantages of using Internet for education compared with traditional education in a classroom are mentioned. Lastly, seven issues to be solved for realizing effective education are mentioned.
