抄録

This paper discusses how desirable preparedness including everyday crime prevention guidance at schools is to guard against what are recently, recurring crimes, which threaten the children's safety and lives. Concrete measures such as every school to have consciousness against crisis, to organize a security network, and the necessity of self-help and efforts by teachers, were exemplified. We must realize that the problem today is not restricted only to schools but encompasses society as a whole. It is even a matter of our view of the world. So far as the safety and lives of our children is concerned we should ask if utmost efforts are being made for their protection. Another, and perhaps more serious crisis is the inability of young people to recognize the sanctity of life. It can no longer be taken for granted that people believe that human life is inviolate. This is indeed a serious situation.
