抄録

The investigation of indoor thermal environment on detached houses in Nagano City has been taking place since 1988. The first purpose of this study is to describe the actual situation of an indoor thermal environment on detached houses.The second purpose is to describe the difference of indoor thermal environment and residents' thinking from the point of view of specific heat loss coefficient. The results of the investigation are as follows : 1) There is a tendency for the newer the building.the better the heat insulation property and air tightness. 2) It was admitted that a specific heat loss coefficient influences the indoor thermal environment and residents' thinking. 3) The residents living in the detached houses reached the new energy saving standard of Nagano Prefecture are more favorable toward their indoor thermal environment than those living in some other houses not reached the standard.
