Abstract
積雪寒冷地域における都市化と水文環境の関係を把握する目的で,札幌市街域における豊平川の流出特性とその流量に及ぼす雪捨て場の影響について調査を行なった。流出特性の調査は,札幌市街域として石山から雁来までの区間をとり,2地点の流量差を調べた。結果を要約すると,以下のようになる。1)札幌市街域における豊平川の流出特性は,すくなくとも1973年以降徐々に変化していること,またその変化はとくに融雪期に顕著であり,変化の方向は石山一雁来区間で流量が増加する方向に進んでいることがわかった。2)除雪により豊平川河川敷の雪捨て場へ運ばれる雪は,融雪期に豊平川の流量を約1%増加させる程度であり,融雪期の流量増加には直接影響していないことが明らかになった。3)融雪期における石山一雁来区間の流量増加は,護岸工事による河川から地下水への漏出量(地下水〓養量)の減少と,下水道の整備などによる地表本あるいは下水の流入量増加によるものと推測された。
Runoff characteristics of the Toyohira River and effects of snow dumping on them in the Sappro urban area were investigated to study the interactions between urban developments and hydrological conditions. The river discharge data were obtained at Ishiyama - upper reach station - and Kariki - lower reach Station. The annual runoff into the Toyohira River between Ishiyama and Kariki - Sapporo urban area - defined as the difference in discharge between the two stations have increased since at least 1973. This increase of runoff is remarkable during the snow melting season, April to June each year. A large amount of snow is dumped at places provided along the river, bnt the amount of snow melt water resulting from these places was only 1% of the discharge at Kariki Station. Therefore, the dumping of removed snow has no large effects on the increased river runoff during the snow melting season. It was concluded that the increase of river runoff was due to the decrease of water leakage to groundwater caused by river-protection works and the increase of water runoff from urban areas caused by developments such as paved roads and sewer systems.
