抄録

The purpose of this preliminary study is to report the confusions and troubles that the directors and teachers in early childhood center have. This study was carried out by the interviews at two early childhood centers in Kochi city. The result of them shows that there are mainly three problems that need to be clarified : (1) SISE sounds complicated when they are carried out by the directors and teachers, (2) the way in which the self-inspection and self-evaluation take place is not concrete, and (3) the necessities of its information disclosure are unclear.
