学校教育の場においてインターネットによる調べ学習が行われている.そのためにはWeb検索システムが便利である.しかし,児童生徒が用語をキーワードとしてインターネットで情報検索する場合,正確な漢字を入力しなければ検索できない.ところが,児童生徒が学習していない漢字もあるため,適切な情報を検索できない.そこで,本研究では,「かな」や「漢字かな混じり」で入力しても該当する漢字に変換して検索してくれる用語変換機能を持つ検索支援システムを開発した.このシステムによれば,「かな」や「漢字かな混じり」を入力しても,「漢字」を入力した場合と同じ検索結果になる.さらに漢字を1字あるいは2字間違えて入力しても,システムが類似な学習用語を選んで表示してくれる.したがって,漢字を完全に習得していない児童生徒でも適切な検索をすることができるようになった.
It is very convenient to research on Internet information which students wont to learn. However, unlike English, the Japanese language uses kanji or Chinese characters to find information, and a word-search support system was developed in this paper for students who may come across kanji that they have not yet learnt to read. For instance, when one types in a word in Japanese, the system would suggest several written forms of the word (both in Chinese characters and in phonetic expression) so that even young students can understand, and search for the necessary information. Simple mistakes in the characters entered can also be automatically corrected.
