Abstract

The new record of two terebrid gastropods, Terebra (Dimidacus?) succinea and T. (Decorihastula) kilbuni collected from the west of Kushimoto, at the tip of the Kii Peninsula, are reported ; the former species extends distribution further north from Okinawa, the later from Hawaii. The 52 terebrid species have been found so far around Shionomisaki.
