Abstract

Seventeen notaspidean specimens collected in Okinawa Island, southern Japan, and one from the Ogasawara Islands, were identified as Berthella martensi (Pilsbry, 1896). These specimens are the first records of this species from Japan. External morphology, radula and reproductive system are described.
